Lessons, classes and workshops in Keene and Peterborough, NH
Acquiring good habits and building confidence are invaluable when it comes to studying an instrument and when playing with others. Learning a new skill and striving to improve one’s playing is easier if it is part of the process that fosters a lifelong love of music. Each student brings their own unique personality to the lesson process and therefore requires a different approach to learning. In working with students of all ages and levels, I find that the needs of each person vary greatly and that progress is best achieved when learning to identify and rely on one’s individual strengths regardless of any specific method or philosophy of teaching. It is extremely rewarding to see the joy as students not only reach milestones, but ultimately become their own best teachers!
